Solving a Business Problem

Unfortunately, within business, managers and employees have to deal with lots of problems and are required to come up with effective solutions.  Moreover, each problem requires a solution and often this results in new business strategies.  Some examples of problems can involve a small coffee shop business enduring a change in tax code seeing a decrease in profits, or new technology having impacted the sales of a retail store.  Regardless, these problems need to be framed accurately withing the organization and marketing strategies can be used in rectifying the issue.

In order to increase sales and revenue or indirectly solve a problem, companies use specific marketing strategies.  More specifically, some business owners may consider collaborative business-to-business marketing strategies.  In other words, competing organizations can cooperate with each other to better handle the effects of the economy and other unique circumstances, such as a global pandemic.  In general, coopetition leads to higher levels of business performance.

Basically, collaboration with competitors under certain situations can be beneficial.  For example, firms can share resources and relevant ideas that are beneficial for both organizations.  One should keep in mind, that certain regulations and rules will still have to be followed, but collaboration among companies can aid in better handling problems related to supply and demand.

Additionally, other marketing strategies can be utilized and are worth mentioning.  More specifically, some business owners should consider publishing a blog, networking with another school in the area, and utilizing social media marketing to highlight certain changes within its organization, instead of just relying on word-of-mouth advertising.  Marketing can address a problem because it provides an organization with an avenue to relay critical information to an audience in a short amount of time.    At present, many younger people have a presence on social media and advertising in that realm can prove to be fruitful.  Lastly, one can utilize google ads and search engine optimization by competing for keywords so that when people search for certain topics, issues, products, or services, their particular can rank higher on the search engine.

In conclusion, there are lots of marketing strategies that could potentially be utilized to address a particular problem in the business world, but coopetition is underrated.  Under certain circumstances, this marketing strategy is acceptable and could be utilized.  Lastly, search engine optimization and social media advertising are also critical in today’s era in terms of reaching a broad audience with important information.
